APTIM is currently seeking Laborers experienced in construction support our anticipated backlog of project work at Department of Defense (DOD) facilities nationwide. APTIM will be performing operations at Federal government facilities involving demolition or drain and refill foam fire suppression systems.
**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:**
+ Drain and disassemble piping and take for AFFF system
+ Drive pickup pulling trailer
+ Operate telehandler or forklift
+ Piping experience
+ Ability to safely operate telehandler/forklift
+ Ability to use powered and non-powered hand tools
+ Ability to travel for extended periods
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ U.S. citizenship with ability to pass a background check for access to DOD facilities.

Supervision and Direction: The Maintenance Person is responsible for operating and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment used to provide heating and hot water for the property, assume the provision and maintenance of efficient building heat and air-conditioning functions including safety, maintenance, repairs, and other related services. The Maintenance Person will receive direction and instruction from the Site Manager and will coordinate their daily activities with that person.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain heaters, air-conditioners, and other equipment in the buildings; to insure that the equipment is operating safely and efficiently; ensure continuous hot water service; determine by inspection that all control equipment is operating properly; check such items as circuit breakers, switches, relays, starters, connections and filters for mechanical and electrical faults, sign of wear, dirt, overloading, and other indications of trouble; and perform such preventive maintenance as lubricating motor hearings and pumps, replacing brushes and filters.
• Perform all necessary maintenance and repairs on apartments.
• Perform all necessary work to turn over units as they are vacated, including furniture removal
• Immediately report any health or safety issues to Site Manager
• Weekly inspect buildings, grounds and other public areas making a report on an
• inspection form and consult with the Site Manager regarding deficiencies.
• Periodically inspect building and grounds to determine necessary preventive maintenance needed and consult with the Site Manager regarding such conditions.
• Provide adequate and efficient housekeeping functions that assure cleanliness of all building halls, walls, stairways, grounds and other public areas, including cleaning light fixtures and mailbox fronts.
• Clean washers and dryers in laundry rooms on a regular basis.
• Possess a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to TMAM for site errands, including trips to banks, stores and other vendors.
• Pick up trash each day, clean sidewalks, edge all walks, cut and edge all grass around all buildings, trees, plants, etc.
• Report building damage or vandalism, unusual circumstances and conditions, and other related incidents to the Site Manager.
• Perform physical duties required to correct emergency conditions such as water flooding, sewer back-ups and responding to inclement weather events, including shoveling and chemical distribution
• Ensure that all maintenance work and repairs are properly recorded on work orders
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Delivery of appliances to units due to transfers, removals and/or replacements
• Able to climb ladders to a height of 20 feet
• Cut grass, trimming and other landscaping duties to maintain outside property areas in an acceptable manner using power equipment such as but not limited to mowers and snow blowers
• Provide own basic tools (or be willing to obtain the required hand tools prior to employment)
• Attend mandatory meetings and seminars
• Able to communicate both orally and in writing using English.

Informs Maintenance Control immediately of any unairworthy conditions found during performance of work assigned.

Ensures that all aircraft records and maintenance paperwork packages are complete, correct and sent to Quality Control in a timely manner.
Rides on company aircraft, as required, to ensure that maintenance, maintenance documentation and aircraft handling are performed in accordance with Western Global Airlines approved procedures.
On arrival at the destination airport, the Maintenance Representative, if present:
- Prioritizes tasks in accordance with procedures outlined in GMM. - Ensures that the aircraft is maintained according to applicable Western Global standards and specifications as outlined in the Western Global GMM. - Reports all maintenance requirements to Maintenance Control. - Performs a walk-around inspection of the aircraft. - Oversees and assists with the ground handling of the aircraft, ensuring that ground operations involving the aircraft and its systems (e.g. fueling, servicing, use of ground power) are conducted according to applicable Western Global and AMM procedures. - Performs any required maintenance or servicing tasks to prepare the aircraft for the flight.
Maintenance Representative works directly with the Maintenance Control for accomplishment of all repairs and checks.
The carriage of sufficient tooling and equipment to perform basic maintenance tasks.
For Special Ferry Permits:
- Accomplishes the required procedures per Maintenance Control instructions. - Accomplishes the SFP checklist. - Accomplishes the safe for intended ferry flight inspection. - Ensures all required documentation for the SFP is in the logbook, including the statement for the inspection. The Building Maintenance Tech 2 maintains and repairs resort buildings and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)
Perform written, verbal, or electronic PM's as directed
Seek out and/or read O&M manuals for repairs or troubleshooting
Performs minor repairs on LP boilers and kitchen appliances
Assists senior level supervisors or technicians in repairs and replacements as needed
Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on all building systems
Treat our customers and guests with courtesy and respect and provide the highest level of customer service possible
Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor
Cleans internal areas of buildings and mechanical spaces; including buffing, dusting, sweeping and mopping
Paints interior and exterior walls and trim and floors
Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment as directed
Maintains and repair building exteriors as needed
Assist other departments as needed or directed
Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts in machines and equipment
Assists other departments with moving furniture, unloading and storing supplies
Performs all tasks as directed building maintenance manager
Keeps logs of tasks performed and maintenance calls
Snow removal
Trash Removal
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Must have a valid Driver's License and eligibility for enrollment on the resort's Motor Vehicle Insurance policy
VOSHA 10 preferred
Must have general knowledge of building maintenance tasks. Familiarity with water and sewer system operations preferred

As a Camp Maintenance Worker, you will:
• Put Safety First: Follow and enforce safety standards, environmental regs, and emergency procedures to ensure a safe working and living environment.• Keep Things Running: Perform routine maintenance repairs on electrical, plumbing, heating, HVAC, and mechanical systems, to keep things running smoothly.• Stay Ready: Respond promptly to urgent repair requests and collaborate with the Camp Manager on routine scheduled upkeep.• Get Hands-On: Maintain and repair camp equipment including janitorial, office, and kitchen, . Ensure walkways are clear of snow and hazards, inspect facility systems, and keep tools organized.• Stay Sharp: Maintain accurate inventory, manage maintenance records, and assist in preparing maintenance reports on activities and budgets.
What We're Looking For:
• Experience & Requirements:
3+ years in maintenance/facility management
Strong skills in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Valid or ability to obtain North Slope Training Card (NSTC)
Must be able to fly commercially from Anchorage to Prudhoe Bay
Must be able to work 12+ hours on a rotational North Slope schedule
