What is an assistant grocery manager and how to become one
Although an assistant grocery store manager is only the second-in-command in a grocery store operations, they still have a lot of responsibilities in their hands. The main part of their job is assisting the manager in running the day-to-day operations, such as checking inventory, doing administrative work, and directing store clerks and cashiers.
Because being an assistant grocery manager handles a lot of client-facing tasks, they should be adept at customer service, customer relations, and complaint resolution. They are also expected to have great interpersonal and communication skills.
