The company started with Stacy Brown and her husband Kevin, who died in 2015 from colon cancer.
The Chicken Salad Chick Foundation, founded by Kevin Brown during his own battle with cancer to raise money for cancer research and to feed hungry families, hosted the largest stadium concert ever in Alabama in 2016.
In 2016, Chicken Salad Chick was ranked #37 on the Inc.
In Technomic’s ranking of the top 500 United States restaurant chains, Chicken Salad Chick’s revenue spiked 43% in 2018.
By 2019, Chicken Salad Chick has expanded to 114 restaurants. It opened 28 new restaurants in 2018, a healthy pace.
Chicken Salad Chick boasts over 200 restaurants across 17 states and plans to grow to more than 220 by the end of 2021.
