Most of the time will be driving PIT including stand-up forklifts and reach trucks for extended times in damp and cold environments with temperatures ranging from -5 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. (Up to 12 hours)
You will be provided a freezer suit, hearing protection, gloves, and headwear as part of your personal protective equipment (PPE).
Team members will furnish their own boots and must wear either steel or composite toe boots that conform to ANSI 75lbs or more PSI rating with a slip resistant sole that covers the ankles. (Composite toe preferred)

JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is seeking Material Handlers to join our Supply Chain team. The Material Handler will supply other departments with all the materials required to complete their tasks. We are looking for associates with great attention to detail to maintain an accurate inventory of cannabis and non-cannabis materials. Material handlers will need to work closely with other departments to help ship/receive cannabis material, supplies and equipment related to the facility operation. Material Handlers are also responsible for shredding plant waste in accordance with the Illinois Department of Agriculture regulations.
CORE JOB DUTIES
Providing departments with all materials needed at the point of use based on work orders/bills of materials provided.
Accurately recording weights and tote counts of all cannabis products being received or shipped out to other facilities or dispensaries.
Follow a first in first out (FIFO) flow of inventory to ensure the shelf-life quality of all perishable stock items
Reports any discrepancies related to cannabis shipments to department leadership and assists in resolving discrepancies.
Assist in tracking and reporting inventory levels to avoid shortages
Assist in the receiving of goods as well as stocking shelves and completing daily supply run for all departments
Operates lift trucks to move equipment/supplies through facility and receive goods from freight carriers
Receive and handoff shipments to freight carriers and small package carriers like FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
Communicating shipment issues with department leadership including damaged shipments.
Assist with Grow media removal after harvests and Operate shredding equipment to dispose of plant waste on a daily basis.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
1 year (2-3 years preferable) of hands-on experience in a factory, production or manufacturing fast-paced environment with measurable goals and working standards, preferred.

Position Expectations
Productivity:
Meet established productivity standards specific to the account.
Understand the stocking strategy (location of product) of the operations building you are assigned.
Follow our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.
Safety:
Follow established Dock Safety policy.
Complete lift inspection (electronic/paper) prior to operation.
Report all equipment malfunctions to manager and/or maintenance immediately.
Follow safety and security policies and SOPs.
Must have experience and be knowledgeable about Food Safety or willing to receive training in Food Safety.
Quality:
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are error and damage free.
Ensure that product is scanned properly and matches the Item code on the product, pick lists, stocking lists, and physical product.
Complete all Inbound and Outbound paper work accurately and completely.
Report all product damage to your supervisor/manager.
Follow our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.
Maintain inventory accuracy and report all inventory discrepancy to supervisor/manager.
Initiative:
Knowledge of multiple accounts and/or job functions within given operation.

We are looking for a careful forklift operator to move packages and material around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities.
