Essential Functions:
Coordinate and help instruct regional training courses, providing routine on-site training and technical assistance to operators in the village, evaluating and training operator(s) in proper operation and maintenance of water treatment and distribution systems, wastewater collection and treatment systems, and equipment
Provide training on regulatory compliance, safety and the development and implementation of preventative maintenance
Maintain contact with community leaders/councils and coordinate with organizations and agencies involved in operation, maintenance and management of water and wastewater systems, attend council meetings and meet with local government officials
Provide emergency assistance to address health and safety concerns of the operator(s) and/or community or prevent catastrophic failure of a water and wastewater system
Provide remote technical assistance to all communities via phone and/or email regarding general troubleshooting, assistance with ordering equipment or supplies, regulatory compliance issues, etc.
Conduct water and wastewater facility plan reviews and provide comments to engineering/project management organizations
Perform other duties as assigned

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

A Day in the Life
Responding to and creating repair orders in various applications, answer incoming calls from drivers and suppliers to resolve inquiries concerning technical vehicle work
Providing service assistance and directions to drivers, clients, and automotive repair shops
Negotiating repair prices when appropriate and reviewing requests for compliance with client policy and Element's standard operating procedures
Issuing authorizations for valid repairs to manage the client's vehicle maintenance repair costs and ensure vehicle downtime is kept to a minimum
Making outbound calls to help initiate service and follow up on service or to resolve open issues
Triage and respond to inquiries coming from our Maintenance Platform application, email, or other internal tools
Respond to incoming calls from drivers and suppliers
Apply your technical car, light truck, or medium/heavy truck expertise and education (e.g.: repairs, preventative maintenance, glass, tires, roadside, labor & parts cost, etc.), while providing superior customer experience
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of automotive knowledge; preferably mechanic experience
2 - 3 years hands-on heavy-duty truck mechanical experience preferred
Must hold active ASE certifications in T1 Mechanical and another active certification in the T Series (T2 - T8) OR be willing to obtain the ASE certification within one year of employment
High School education required, BA/BS is a plus
Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as the schedule may require
PC skills including data entry and Microsoft Office suite

The hiring base salary range for this position is $49,100 to $67,500 annually. Complete in a timely and professional manner all assigned service requests.

Communicate with subcontractors while on site, as needed, and keep Maintenance Supervisor informed of their progress.
Know the locations of all power, water, gas shut-offs, sewer cleanouts, hydrants and a ll safety equipment.
Maintain all property tools and equipment in safe and operating condition.
Notify Maintenance Supervisor immediately of any maintenance problems or safety issues, provide a recommended solution if possible.
Assist Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining an organized and effective control of keys, and maintenance shop.
Clean out vacant apartments as soon as they become available.
Turnover of apartments as instructed; includes painting, maintenance and cleaning.

Job Responsibilities:

Shall positively support and promote safety, security and quality as a fundamental function of the overall responsibility.
Ensures that manpower and schedules can and will meet operational commitments of aircraft.
Plans, organizes and schedules workloads in such a manner that the highest quality and efficiency can be obtained from manpower and hours available.
Recommends stocking level for line stations, for efficient support of aircraft and other projects that come up in day-to-day activities. Orders and documents parts which are used, and coordinates with Materials to ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed when parts are issued and used on aircraft.
Advises Maintenance Control of aircraft out-of-service and/or planned out-of-service problems, and estimates time required to complete work and return-to-service.
Enforces safety measures, good shop practices and cleanliness standards for the maintenance facilities and equipment under his/her jurisdiction.
Informs Maintenance Control immediately of any unairworthy conditions found during performance of work assigned.
Coordinates with Maintenance Control to ensure that parts, manpower and equipment are in place to clear incoming discrepancies and Deferred Items (DI) in a timely manner.
Troubleshoots items and affects repair or oversees the troubleshooting and repair of company aircraft to assure that aircraft return to service as soon as possible, with minimal impact to schedule.

Ensures that all aircraft maintenance is performed in accordance with FAA accepted or approved data.
May be authorized to perform a required inspection, however, he/she may not perform the item of work required to be inspected if he/she will perform the inspection.
Ensures that all aircraft records and maintenance paperwork packages are complete, correct and sent to Quality Control in a timely manner.
Rides on company aircraft, as required, to ensure that maintenance, maintenance documentation and aircraft handling are performed in accordance with Western Global Airlines approved procedures.
On arrival at the destination airport, the Maintenance Representative, if present:
- Prioritizes tasks in accordance with procedures outlined in GMM. - Ensures that the aircraft is maintained according to applicable Western Global standards and specifications as outlined in the Western Global GMM. - Reports all maintenance requirements to Maintenance Control. - Performs a walk-around inspection of the aircraft. - Oversees and assists with the ground handling of the aircraft, ensuring that ground operations involving the aircraft and its systems (e.g. fueling, servicing, use of ground power) are conducted according to applicable Western Global and AMM procedures. - Performs any required maintenance or servicing tasks to prepare the aircraft for the flight.
Maintenance Representative works directly with the Maintenance Control for accomplishment of all repairs and checks.
The carriage of sufficient tooling and equipment to perform basic maintenance tasks.
For Special Ferry Permits:
- Accomplishes the required procedures per Maintenance Control instructions. - Accomplishes the SFP checklist. - Accomplishes the safe for intended ferry flight inspection. - Ensures all required documentation for the SFP is in the logbook, including the statement for the inspection. Education/Experience/Skills:
Valid Airframe and Powerplant license (A&P).
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two (2) years, proven line maintenance experience on 747/MD-11 aircraft or equivalent.
Must have a valid passport and driver's license.
Ability to travel as the needs of the airline dictates. (travel up to 20 days per month)
Must have a positive attitude and be able to handle changes and make sound decisions.
Ability to work autonomously and provide progress reports.
