Overview of Position
We are looking for experienced Foremen for several jobs in CA. Job tasks include the following Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage a crew of 5 10 workers;
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics/ electrical code specifications to determine layout of equipment installations
Supervise and manage trenching for utility conduits, directing operators on backhoes, backfilling and underground scanning
Supervise and manage pouring and finishing concrete pads for switchgear, Electrical Chargers, Bollards, directing paving, and overhead EMT conduit placement
Supervise and manage Electrical resources on the job
Arrange and coordinate safety meetings;
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to crew members;
Be the point of contact with the employers site superintendent;
Supervise and train apprentices on the job, as required;
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to immediate supervisor;
Controlling inventory on truck, job-site, and in/out of stock (for active jobs);
Organize and maintain material lists for your crew;
Gathering required material;

Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean;
Work with building principals and supervisors to complete projects;
Respond to emergency calls as needed;
Updating work logs, client accounts, and handling other administrative duties.

You will report to the Construction Manager of Facility Asset Management.
Responsibilities/You Will
* Ensure projects are scoped, performed with an emphasis on, quality control, budget management and schedule control.
* Manage each assigned project from creation to completion.
* Complete projects within approved budget and schedule with the highest quality and in the most cost-efficient manner.
* Monitor the project safety program in close coordination with DLR Safety.
* Manage final approval for contractor submitted safety plans and compliance to the project safety plan. Includes compliance with all regulatory (OSHA) requirements, corporate governance requirements and DLR safety requirements.
* Attend pre & post bid scope reviews/ constructability reviews on projects in design phases.
* Develop project implementation strategies and schedules with support of FAM Project Schedulers.
* Manage the project schedule, establishing project planning task to ensure schedule compliance and ensuring man loading requirements of the contractor to achieve the desired completion date.
* Coordinate operational constraints and job goals together as to achieve a seamless project. Including managing communication with Partners, Clients and Operations Management regarding project status, schedule, financial and guest impacts.
* Communicate project information to lines of business client and all impacted Resort divisions and Operations Management.
Basic Qualifications/You Will Have
* One year of proven experience with concise technical writing in an academic or work environment.
* Academic or work experience interpreting drawings (Architectural drawings or engineering drawings, etc.).
* Flexibility with work schedule, including different shifts, weekends, and holidays.
* Experience engaging with multiple levels of Cast Members and Employees, while promoting agreement on the team.
* Experience identifying opportunities to balance urgent requests with long-term team goals.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with several software programs such as construction management software and Microsoft suite of products.
* Knowledge of OSHA Regulations.

* College Degree with an emphasis in project management.
* Special classes in building construction (MEP, estimating, reading contract documents).
The hiring range for this position in California is $78,200.00-$104,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

Construction Foreman Duties:
The Construction Foreman will be responsible for leading multiple crews on multiple construction tasks/sites simultaneously. This position will independently assess the status of construction-oriented projects and accurately/timely report to project managers and supervisor. This position will also meet regularly with project managers, clients and biologists. This position is required to actively perform tasks with crews.
Hourly wages will be based on qualifications and experience. Starting hourly rates will range between $30 to $35 per hour and will be commensurate with the candidate's relevant experience.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements for Construction Foreman:
Experience with irrigation installation, programming and monitoring controllers and irrigation field adjustments
Experience with operating heavy equipment such as a backhoe, ride-on trencher, skidsteer, front-end loader, etc.
Previous experience directing crews as a foreman/crew lead and day-to-day planning/supervision of project sites
Previous experience assessing and reporting status of construction-oriented projects independently
Previous experience with electronic logs/reporting
Physically able to stand for extended periods of time, walk on slopes/uneven terrain and lift up to 50 lbs.,
Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record over the last 3 years
Fluent in English with strong oral/written communication skills
Additional skills considered a plus:
Bilingual (fluent in English/Spanish)
