In this role, you will direct and assist in the construction, maintenance, operations and retirement of the distribution system. Utilize available personnel and equipment for the safe completion of assigned work tasks.
Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Plan and assign line technician work tasks to ensure a safe and timely completion of jobs.
Practice and enforce safe work practices to meet targeted goals.
Respond quickly to service interruptions to minimize outage time.
Embrace a marketing attitude to ensure the customer's needs are considered in every aspect of the job.
Ensure the proper use of equipment and tools within recommended company and manufacturer guidelines.
Promote the products and services of the organization with every applicable customer interaction, bearing in mind that marketing is every employees' job.
Responsible for receiving and returning materials assigned to jobs to ensure accuracy of material charges.
Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all necessary reports according to company requirements.
Perform similar or less skilled work as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL HAVE:
Education requirements are listed below:High school diploma or GED.
Work Experience requirement listed below:Four years distribution line experience and qualified/certified as a Lineman Journeyman or General Servicer.
Required License(s)/Certification(s) are listed below:A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.
Required License(s)/Certification(s) are listed below:Must possess and maintain a valid CDL A state driver's license.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Physically able to perform work on distribution systems.
Work Hours / Travel Requirements: 40 hours per week with overtime and travel as required.
Must be available for overtime callout including weekends and holidays.

Summary/Objective:
In this position, you will be tasked to lead, coordinate and manage the construction and installation of equipment in accordance with federal, state and company policies and regulations. Communication and daily interaction with customers, vendors, sub-contractors, local and state regulatory agencies is required. Crew foreman will be detailed oriented, keeping an eye out for any safety issues, bringing any issues to the attention of his superiors, while still striving to complete the project on time.
Essential Job Functions:
Certification and Training from Petroleum Equipment Manufacturer's a plus (we will provide all necessary training)
Valid Driver's License and good driving record
Experience with Petroleum Construction is a MUST! (I.E. Have you built gas stations before?)
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to work well with others
Ability to Operator Heavy Equipment (backhoe, trackhoe, skid steer) a plus
Communicate with Project Managers, subcontractors, local and state inspectors and vendors
Out of town travel from time to time
Field construction experience running a crew and working with sub-contractors
Monitor and maintain schedules for crew and subcontractors
Document daily activities, material/parts used, testing, inspections and visitors. Create and maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain a timely flow and complete projects on time and on budget.
Ensure a safe working environment.
Procure equipment & supplies needed, plan out project to minimize costs
Strong work ethic, detail oriented, reliable with strong communication skills
Experience installing fuel handling equipment.
Must obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card

The Role

Qualifications:

3+ years' experience in the AST (Above Ground Storage Tank industry), Minimum 3 years' experience in API 650/653 repair and maintenance.

Must be able to weld in all positions with SMAW, FCAW, and SAW
Detail-oriented, Excellent organizational skills
Ability to complete all required paperwork associated with safety and QA/QC without assistance.
