  • Process Ocean Import shipments
  • Data entry, tracking and tracing, billing and close files.
  • Prepare price quotations on inbound international freight
  • Rate and route international traffic
  • Follow up with customers to resolve inquires

Lineage Logistics import coordinator job description

Ensure products arrive to the correct locations timely, while certifying all safety regulations are met when moving between state/province/region/territory lines. Responsible for the accurate filing of Customer Profile entries.
**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Serve as the first point of contact to resolve customer issues.

+ Manage, monitor, and maintain records on required documents; and resolve all issues to obtain customs clearance

+ Understand customer's business, requirements, and rate structure; issue invoices for services rendered and accrue costs in the system

+ Review and update customer files.

+ Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to make sure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and timely

+ port internal customer metrics.

+ Coordinate availability of products and schedule daily shifts with the warehouse team.

+ Notify carriers and key team members of pending, no shows and/or unscheduled arrivals

+ Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary

+ Invoice and verify accounts accurately and in a timely manner

+ Coordinate and manage order issues with facilities to support on-time order shipment

+ Manage customer invoice process by working with appropriate parties to ensure orders are invoiced and processed timely
