of a Warehouse Associate will be based out of our Birmingham, AL Location! The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for efficiently and accurately filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity. Responsible for all warehouse transactions, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of the branch warehouse environment and equipment. What You'll Do Contributes to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment. Follows established Standard Operating Procedures, Environmental Health and Safety Rules, and immediately addresses safety concerns Receives material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Must report to work on time and clock in and out properly. 2. Keep all warehouse load areas and grounds clean. Place product on hand truck or dolly Fills racks, pushes/pulls pallets and loads appropriate company products. 3. Prior to starting the loading process, review the total quantity to be pulled and the truck it is to go on. Discuss any space concerns with the Load Crew Manager. 4. Build loads for each order in the most efficient manner. 5. Pull and load the exact amounts given through the voice picking system or system generated pick sheets. 6. Ensure loads are completed accurately and neatly. 7. Be aware of code dates and load the oldest product first. 8. Visually inspect all cases loaded to ensure they are in saleable condition. 9. Clean all areas before leaving at the end of your shift, keeping work area clean. 12. Clear the pick area of debris and stretch wrap at the end of the truck loading process each night. 13.
