Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Lead Control System Specialist performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:

Requirements:
The Control System Specialist requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
BS in Engineering field required.
Hands-on configuration experience using Honeywell Experion and TDC-3000.
Configuration experience on Honeywell Safety Manager, or any other SIS, DCS, PLC, or HMI system is a plus.
PE License is a plus.
5+ years of control system engineering experience.
Demonstrated experience in technical execution on both FEL/FEED and EPC projects in the chemical and petrochemical industry.
Knowledge of Microsoft software products.
Working conditions are as follows:
Position Type: Full Time, Full Benefits.
Standard Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00 am to 5:30pm.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in an engineering (Systems, Aerospace, Mechanical, Software, Electrical) or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of experience with a related Master’s degree.
- Experience developing and reviewing technical engineering documents
- Professional experience in a Systems Engineering role
- Ability to translate requirements into system/subsystem functions and configuration logic

- Prior experience working with Department of Defense (DOD) customers

Job Description
Position Description: This is a System Engineer position supporting the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office, a government program office addressing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, with focus on Mission Command systems. The candidate in this role will work with contractors, government civilians and system operators to develop system level concepts that provide solutions to problems that often involve multiple systems from multiple product offices. These concepts define external interfaces, outline system behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria necessary to support HW and SW engineering teams. Tasks may also include leading reviews and adjudicating comments made against the concepts. Concept development will utilize a model-based system engineering (MBSE) approach in an Agile workflow and environment.
Basic Qualifications: The candidate must be a US Citizen and a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area. A bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field is required. Candidate should have 7 or more years of system engineering experience.
The candidate must have experience in one or more of the following areas: tactical command and control systems, tactical weapons systems, tactical sensor systems, software, hardware, requirement decomposition, or MBSE tools and languages.
