As a Senior Software Engineer for our CRM Integration (HubSpot) at Kin, you'll lead the design, development, and optimization of our HubSpot integrations and related systems. You'll use your deep understanding of HubSpot's data model, APIs, and best practices to build robust solutions that unify our sales, customer service, and marketing operations. You'll be integrating Hubspot with our core product, built on a Ruby on Rails environment with Typescript front-end and PostgreSQL database. In your role, you will have the opportunity to work on more complex engineering problems while collaborating with peers in Dev, Product, QA, and other cross-functional teams in an agile environment. As a senior team member, you'll have the opportunity to mentor more junior engineers, and on occasion lead small projects. A day in the life could include: Driving HubSpot integrations: Take a leading role in architecting, designing, and optimizing integrations between HubSpot and our internal systems (Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, internal APIs, etc.). Setting standards: Establish best practices for scaling our HubSpot configuration and integration, while also guiding the engineering team in code quality, maintainability, and efficient workflows. Providing subject matter expertise: Be the go-to resource for all things HubSpot, offering insight on features, upgrades, and advanced customization.
