The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for the observation and monitoring of patients in treatment and reporting duties as indicated and contributes to the welfare of the organization and assists patients in a variety of patient activities. Assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure success of the facility by completing the following:
Core Job Duties:
Communicate and enforce facility program rules and ensure compliance in a firm but fair and professional manner.
Communicate patient behavior with immediate supervisor and clinical team as appropriate.
Address problem behaviors as needed through verbal de-escalation techniques.
Adhere to time schedules
Maintain healthy and professional boundaries with patients and staff
Ensure that documentation is timely, consistent, clear, accurate and legible.
Keep clinical records secure at all times.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Associate's degree and minimum one (1) year experience in BHT or similar patient care role preferred
In lieu of Associate degree, minimum two (2) years' experience in BHT or similar patient care role required.
Alternatively, successful completion of the ARS training through the BHT I.

Qualifications
Clinical Psychologist Requirements:
Education: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology.
Experience Preferred: One year's clinical experience working within a multidisciplinary team in primary care or other medical settings, providing diagnostic and psychological assessments for primary care-based positions. One year's clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families in specialty behavioral health settings.
Licenses/Registration: Licensed Psychologist within the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days of hire.
Master's Level Therapist Requirements
Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
Experience Required: Two years of postgraduate/master's experience in the direct treatment of persons with mental illness or emotional disturbance; such experience must have been gained under the supervision of a mental health professional. Patient Counseling

Medication Therapy Management
Collaborative Drug Therapy Management or other post-diagnostic disease state management, pursuant to a valid agreement
Prescribe a drug or device, as authorized by statute according to Drug Therapy Management Protocols
Order, interpret, and monitor laboratory tests

Provide direct oversight of pharmacy personnel and ensure that they work only within the scope of practice and duties of their licensure.
Ensure the security of the pharmacy area, including the provision of adequate safeguards against theft or diversion of prescription drugs.
Ensure that all records and inventories are maintained in accordance with state and federal laws.
Ensure all prescriptions, prescription refills, and drug orders are correctly dispensed according to the prescribing provider's authorization and YVFWC policies and procedures.

Qualifications

As a dietitian, you will have the opportunity to:
Conducts nutritional screening and assessment for patients/clients to include anthropometric and laboratory data, collection of nutrition history, calculation of nutrition adequacy, and identification of drug-nutrient interactions.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist, functioning in the spirit of teamwork, is accountable for providing diagnostic respiratory testing & initiating, maintaining & evaluating therapeutic respiratory procedures within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization. The scope of the role is to support clinical care in the Emergency Department, Inpatient Unit, Imaging Services area and Outpatient Draw Station.

Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Education: Graduate of approved School for Respiratory Therapy leading to an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
· Licensure /Certification:
· Maintains current Ohio Respiratory Professional License to practice in the State of Ohio.
· Maintains a current National Board Respiratory Credential for those in a program after 7/1/2002.
· Experience: Clinical experience in adult & pediatric respiratory therapy procedures, such as aerosolized delivery of medication, mechanical ventilation, assisting with intubation, extubation, pulmonary function studies, emergency care and obtaining & interpreting arterial blood gases preferred.
· Demonstration of a high degree of self-direction, self-motivation, organizational skills, and leadership ability.
· Must have the ability to work well with other healthcare professionals.
· Effective verbal & written communication skills.
· BLS healthcare provider, required.
· ACLS required within 3 months
· PALS required within 3 months

Essential Responsibilities:

· Provides for periodic rounding on patients & families, providing updates and initiating service recover on identified issues.
· Clinical Practice:
· Performs basic therapeutic respiratory care to include: IPPB, aerosol therapy, postural drainage & percussion, oxygen therapy, arterial blood gases, non-invasive monitoring, etc.
· Performs critical care patient management, to include: ventilator management, Code Blue / ACLS management, CPR.
· Performs cardiopulmonary patient assessment & evaluation, pre & post intervention.
· Performs cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, to include: EKG, bedside pulmonary function screening.
Performs venipuncture and IV placement as ordered per scope of practice
· Provides airway support during procedural sedations.
· Performs clinical Point of Care testing, accurately, timely & efficiently.
· Reviews and validates test results and follows up with appropriate action.
· Records & reports test results.
· Maintains instrumentation by performing calibrations, maintenance, QC & trouble shooting.
· Operates & provides laboratory back-up on selected equipment (ABG analyzer).
· Performs patient care activities as required by the situation. (i.e.) Nasopharyngeal swabbing, phlebotomy, assisting with transport, specimen collection, delivery of blood & blood products, orthopedic splinting.
· Participates in critical situations, (i.e.) trauma, resuscitation, heart team, stoke team, within the scope of licensure and organizational policies & procedures.
· Collaboration:
· Confers with Registered Nurses and Physicians relative to respiratory patient management.
· Education:
· Provides patient & family education relative to the procedure being performed.
· Delegation:
· Accepts responsibility for the direction of support staff in the implementation of patient care.

· Communicates pertinent clinical information to appropriate members of the patients care team.
· Keeps patient & families appraised and updated. Establishes and maintains strong positive communication with patients and families.
· Assists the clinical staff with answering incoming & placement of outgoing phone calls, utilizing scripted messages.
· Continuity Planning:
· Contributes to discharge planning for patients requiring respiratory therapy, which may include, but is not limited to: inhaler & oxygen use, & facilitation of transfer of patients requiring assisted ventilation.
· Safe Practice:
· Verifies and implements physician & other licensed independent practitioner orders.
· Administers medications, within the limits of licensure, according to the organization's standards, policies, procedures, and or guidelines.
· Initiates appropriate emergency procedures and responds as required in emergency operations plans.
· Practices positive patient identification.
· Maintains equipment appropriate to the care environment.
· Follows testing guidelines, as outlined in policy & procedure manual.
· Performs routine scheduled and specialized maintenance of ABG and Point of Care equipment.
· Provides for a safe environment for patients (i.e.) side rails, patient positioning, maintains patient's environment, cleaning patient stretchers & rooms between patient, provides post procedure clean-up, returning equipment to proper place, monitors patients who require direct visualization to ensure self-protection or prevent elopement risk.

As a dietitian, you will have the opportunity to:
Conducts nutritional screening and assessment for patients/clients to include anthropometric and laboratory data, collection of nutrition history, calculation of nutrition adequacy, and identification of drug-nutrient interactions.
Utilizes motivational interview to identify desired goals and outcomes of nutrition care in collaboration with patient/client and health care professionals. Considers the variables that may influence the patient/client's food related behaviors including culture and social determinants of health.
Evaluates and provides evidence based nutrition recommendations to address patient/client medical needs. Understands and evaluates patient/client nutrition status and its relationship to complex disease states including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, gastrointestinal disorders, cancer, food allergies and obesity.
Collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals to advocate for and implement optimal nutrition care.

Designs and implements outreach activities to raise community awareness of program services.
Completes documentation in the appropriate electronic medical record to document patient/client interaction.

Performs clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and YVFWC requirements.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Dietetics from a U.S. regionally accredited college, university, or foreign equivalent for new graduates after January 2024. Dietitians credentialed prior to Jan 2024 are allowed to be grandfathered in with a Bachelor's Degree.
Completion of ACEND (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics) accredited academic coursework in a Didactic Program in Dietetics.
Registered Dietitian or registration eligible (must obtain RD credential within 180 days of hire)
One year of work experience in primary care, community/public health, or clinical setting preferred
