The engineer reports to the program software IPT lead and is responsible for leading multiple software teams for development activities.
As an integral part of our multi-discipline engineering team in Advanced Weapons, you will be on the forefront of developing next generation solutions to protect technology for our nation's warfighters. The ideal candidate will be supporting one of our programs for defining and architecting a secured missile weapon system. This position will require close collaboration with team members of other projects within the organization for security architecture designs as well as external partners and customers.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Backlog Management: Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the current needs and priorities of the project. Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between the development team and stakeholders, including customers, management, and other departments. Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine the product requirements.
• Sprint Planning and Review: Participate in sprint planning meetings to help the team understand the product backlog items and their priorities. Review completed work to ensure it meets the acceptance criteria and provides the desired value.
• Technical Guidance: Leverage technical expertise to provide guidance and insights to the development team, ensuring that technical decisions align with the product vision. Help resolve technical challenges and support the team in implementing solutions efficiently.

Guide customers in selecting optimal EDA tools, implementation flows, and methodologies.
Perform and review physical design checks to ensure customer tape-out quality meets MediaTek's standards.
Drive the development and execution of the physical design flow from RTL to GDSII.
Possess deep knowledge of floor planning, placement, routing, timing closure, IR/EM analysis and fixing, DRC, and LVS.
Collaborate with various teams, including but not limited to design, flow, implementation, EDA vendors, and IT/infrastructure, to optimize flow and methodology.
Develop and maintain in-house methodologies and flows.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in physical design and flow development.
