Conduct statistical process control (SPC) and etch rates; including measure, execution, analysis, and reporting to ensure company chamber performance is under control and in-spec. As we scale from research and development to full-scale manufacturing, we are looking for a Robot Operators Lead to guide and support the team of Robot Operators during each shift, ensuring efficient workflows and constant data collection. The Robot Operators Lead plays a critical role in the success of each shift, acting as the go-to person for Robot Operators and ensuring smooth operations. While this is an hourly role, it carries supervisory responsibilities, including enabling all operators to maintain productivity and ensuring that data collection processes are followed consistently. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and able to solve problems on the fly, while fostering collaboration and high performance among their team. Job requirements Lead and coordinate the Robot Operators on your shift, ensuring all team members are productive and collecting data as required. Act as the first point of contact for operators during the shift, addressing questions, resolving minor issues, and escalating more complex problems to the Robot Operators Supervisor. Monitor and ensure adherence to data collection protocols and procedures, maintaining high-quality standards. Facilitate shift handovers by providing updates on ongoing tasks, challenges, and completed activities. Conduct regular checks to ensure that all operators have the tools and resources needed to perform their duties efficiently. Assist in training and onboarding new operators, helping them to quickly become productive members of the team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and foster teamwork. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions to maintain operational flow. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Dependable and flexible, with a willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a shift rotation. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in operations or leadership are a plus.
