Quality Assurance/Quality Control Associate
We are looking for a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Associate to write or revise quality documentation, assist with raw material qualifications, perform process and final quality inspections and lab testing. You will assist in conducting product extensions. As the Quality Associate, you will be expected to work under general supervision or as part of a multifunctional team on assignments of varying degrees of complexity to ensure products and processes comply with the Company's quality system and applicable regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Write/revise SOP's, work instructions, forms, component specifications, etc. related to QA/QC processes
Write and/or revise raw material component specifications
Write and at times execute product extension and other various studies.
Review and record test data for consistency and accuracy.
Conduct laboratory testing on incoming, in process and finished materials using laboratory equipment, as required.
Record and maintain temperature data for various equipment.
Learn the applicable QC functions as related to the new ERP system.
Interface with operations, R&D and Marcom as a team member to accomplish goals. Work as an ambassador and liaison for QA and other departments.
Cross train in the value assignment process, as to data entry and review. learn the coordination with outside value assignment laboratories.
Complying with cGMP and laboratory safety practices
Perform special projects as assigned by department head or other duties as assigned
Employee will contribute to a positive work environment
Assist in maintaining Quantimetrix Corporation quality system
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in clinical, biological, or chemical sciences
2+ years' experience working in a clinical or medical device/IVD laboratory or an FDA regulated quality assurance medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
Ability to write technical reports and/or studies
Ability to analyze and present data in a coherent and scientific manner
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Basic use of Excel spreadsheets and statistics
Detail oriented
Experience working under FDA/ISO regulations

How You Will Make An Impact
Plan and Execute Ground Test Campaigns: Develop procedures and set up instrumentation for subsystem and full-vehicle tests, ranging from engine hotfire to static load checks, and manage any anomaly resolutions that arise
Oversee Integration Readiness: Collaborate with propulsion, structures, and avionics teams to confirm that hardware is properly installed, tested, and documented before transitioning to vehicle-level tests or launch

7+ years of hands-on experience in test and launch operations in the aerospace industry
A bachelor's or master's in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, mechatronics or a related engineering field

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Proactive self-starter with a keen eye for details with focus on end-user experiences and ability to go above and beyond to ensure a high-quality release.
Working with business partners and software development engineers to test and fix issues.
Developing detailed test plans, assessing risks, filing detailed defect reports, and providing relevant data for test reporting.
Troubleshoot, triage and provide detailed debug information for expediting issue resolution.
Testing large technology stacks with many software components.
Ability to drive cross-functional communications, understanding dependencies while also ensuring a tight timeline can be maintained.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
2+ years industry experience working with cardiac devices.
Passionate about troubleshooting failures to determine root cause.
Excellent communication skills and very detail oriented.
Ability and passion for learning new frameworks and technologies quickly.
Experience working in health tech companies preferred.
1+ years' experience working with the PaceMate platform (internal or external users) preferred.
Previous experience working in the field of QA preferred.
IBHRE Certification - CCDS or CDRMS preferred.
Experience working with health records and medical device data - including HL7 data. preferred.
Experience working with relational databases/SQL - MySQL preferred.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
The Analytics QA Tester works independently, as well as with developers and business analysts, to test complex software and Business Intelligence solutions. Develop test plans, participate in peer reviews of software solutions (including code reviews), and assist end-users with user acceptance testing. Responsible for automated regression testing. Work closely with other software developers and analysts to understand what the product is meant to do, to identify issues in design and development, and to provide recommendations for improvements. Analyze and understand complex data sources in order to validate developed applications, Business Intelligence solutions, data warehouses, data visualizations, and extract, transform, and load (ETL) procedures. As a member of an agile development team this position will test new features for functionality and user experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Work with the Analytics Development Team to test applications and Business Intelligence products during the systems development life cycle (SDLC).
Assist end-users in performing user acceptance testing on developed solutions.
Responsible for designing and implementing test plans and test cases based on product specifications.
Perform post-implementation testing of developed solutions.
Document test plans, test cases, and test results.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline required and 5 years of experience testing highly complex software applications crossing multiple platforms and diverse technologies.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
