Education and Experience Requirements:
8 years experience as lead superintendent on secure facility, commercial interior, retail, building renovation projects
Experience in secure facility construction: knowledge of TEMPEST requirements.
Expertise in secure facility construction and working knowledge of ICD/ICS 705 guidelines
High school diploma and two years of college preferred; or equivalent years of experience required
Proven track record of independent judgment and decision-making when faced with matters of confidential or non-routine nature

Required Qualifications:

Ability to complete a security officer training course and conduct regularly scheduled sustainment training.
Must have reliable transportation during all seasons.

The Opportunity

The Responsibilities
Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects

Responsibilities
Patrol the property as required and ensure the security of hotel guests and assets.
Promptly report any safety of security concerns to the appropriate manager or the Security Supervisor.

Act as property first responder to alarms, medical calls, etc. maintain absolute confidentiality on sensitive issues.
Interact with all government agencies, i.e., fire, police and paramedics, as needed.
Conduct detailed internal investigations into incidents, and provide detailed, objective reports for each shift or incident.
Detect and resolve immediate safety issues; respond to the scene of an incident and act as an emergency first responder, if required.
Maintain accurate notes and log information as required; ensure that all pass-on information is communicated to the next shift.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Must possess required valid professional credentials (if required by state or local regulations).
Valid certification in CPR/AED and first aid, or the ability to obtain certification.
Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving background/criminal history record.
Effective communication skills in English.
Experience at a comparable AAA Four Diamond/Four Star hotel and/or resort is highly desired.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
