About The Role:
G-III Apparel Group is looking for high quality professional security officers for our office building. This Security Officer will provide protection of all persons and property, verifying the identification of guests, visitors, and all company employees, providing information and directions, explaining rules and regulations, maintaining logs and records of occurrences, and completing necessary paperwork. Will also be responsible for patrolling and inspecting on foot the building to ensure personal, building, and equipment security, responding to emergencies. May use the computer terminal to input and retrieve data.
Job Description:
Provide needed assistance to customers, co-workers, and client management
Observe and report suspicious activities and persons
Follow directions of supervisor and manager
Take action based on the situation, known facts, and position limitations

Overseeing building access procedures
Assisting visitors to the buildings
Performing security checks, identifying suspicious activity, and enforcing security rules and regulations
Secures premises by patrolling interior and exterior of the facility; Inspecting building, equipment, and access points; ensures security of doors and gates.
Monitors surveillance equipment.
Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and other persons, asking for appropriate documentation and/or authorization in order to stop suspicious people and guard against theft, diversion, loss and maintaining security of premises.
Investigates and reports irregular activities, such as property damage, theft, unauthorized personnel, disturbances, hazards, and suspicious activities to the Security Manager and/or local police when required.
Respond to and investigate all alarms.
Ensures reports, records and other documentation is accurate, complete, timely and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Escort unauthorized persons off the premises when necessary.
Contact Police, Fire Department or EMS in cases of emergency.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Required
Possess a Valid NY State Security License
8-hour and 16-hour security certificate
Must have excellent communication skills
Ideal candidates for these positions must have a stable work history in Corporate Security. Former Law Enforcement/Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

Work closely with the HTP project management team to identify and mitigate safety risks throughout the project lifecycle, from design through construction, commissioning, and operation.

The Campus Safety Officer position operates under the direction and supervision of the Director and Assistant Director of Campus Safety. As a per diem role, officers are called in as needed to backfill full-time positions, provide event coverage, or offer additional support to the department. The strict enforcement of our booting and towing policies for vehicles parked in violation at the direction of a supervisor in accordance with our established policy and guidelines
Conducting random patrol of all assigned posts and properly conducting access control while assigned to a fixed post by maintaining a high level of visibility. Campus safety officers are required to remain on their post at all times performing their duties until properly relieved
Being alert at all times while on duty and to carry out their duties with honesty and integrity and without prejudice. Campus Safety Officers must maintain the highest professional and personal standards at all times
Ensuring that all Campus Safety and Security vehicles assigned to them are kept in safe and good mechanical condition. Check vehicles at the beginning of each tour of duty for any damage or required maintenance. Be able to operate a twelve passenger van as part of the Iona College Shuttle Service
The proper care and maintenance of all uniforms and equipment assigned to them
