Assist and evaluate reports of investigations, and other records to determine if individuals are eligible suitability for employment, ensuring national security interests are protected.
Assist in any other personnel security duties, special projects, as requested
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant personnel security adjudication experience OR 15 years of personnel security adjudication experience with no degree
At least 2 years of experience adjudicating personnel security investigations for the United States Government, including national security and/or public trust cases
Expert knowledge of federal personnel security policies, adjudicative guidelines, and investigation types (e.g., T3, T5, Tiered Investigations)
Proficiency in working with personnel security systems such as e-QIP, DISS/JPAS, CVS, and Scattered Castles
Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience supporting EOUSA, DOJ, or other federal law enforcement or national security entities
Familiarity with continuous evaluation (CE), insider threat considerations, and reciprocity determinations
Training or certification in federal adjudication (e.g., CDSE Adjudicator Professional Certification)
Experience developing training materials or policy guidance for adjudication processes

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent certification required.

Three (3) years of experience working in a correctional setting, one (1) of which was in a position requiring supervisory capabilities.
Must be mature, flexible, intellectually alert, able to command the respect and confidence of detainees/inmates as well as staff and possess a high tolerance to mental stress.
Supervisory Officers. Supervisors must be trustworthy and must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a detention officer and two (2) years of successful experience in field supervision (e.g., civilian community law enforcement, commercial or industrial guard service, or security service supervisory positions). The two (2) year requirement may be satisfied by completion of a career development program that includes work-related experience, training, or college credits at a level of achievement equivalent to the basic requirement, as practiced in the federal hiring process.

Summary: The Escort is primarily responsible to perform protective service and escort work such as escorting uncleared individuals into designated buildings and property, controlling access to installations by employees and visitors, and making sure that employees and visitors being escorted adhere to the rules of the facility and remain in the areas that they are authorized to access.
