As a Security Coordinator at a Wegmans store location, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure store environment for customers and employees. Coordinators are the liaison between the Wegmans Asset Protection team, company leaders and the employees within the store. This position requires a self-motivated, independent individual who is task-oriented and will remain highly visible to build relationships within the store and provide incredible customer service.
What will I do?
Focus on people safety in our stores and execute safety programs to create a positive shopping experience and a safe work environment
Partner with management to implement an Asset Protection strategy aimed at maximizing sales while reducing shrink due to theft; benchmark industry activity, identify trends and analyze data
Foster a collaborative and professional relationship with community organizations and emergency responders to increase safety and security awareness and measures
Discreetly observe customers, vendors, and employees to prevent loss; utilize a variety of resources to apprehend and process shoplifters
Coordinate and manage all Closed-Circuit Television systems, and all life safety and store security measure systems
Navigate situations such as medical emergencies and fire alarms using problem solving and conflict management skills
Respond to emergency situations and make difficult decisions that affect the safety and wellbeing of others
Discreetly conduct investigations and surveillances under the guidance of the Asset Protection Manager
Respond to emergency situations; provide ongoing support and guidance to both employees and customers
Required Qualifications
Police Officer/Deputy/Trooper experience working road patrol and/or United States Military Law Enforcement or Special Operations experience
Proven ability to problem solve and effectively manage conflict
Ability to use good judgment and make difficult decisions that affect the safety and well-being of others
Ability to maintain effective communication and composure in a stressful environment
Technical aptitude with advanced PC skills, including proficiency with MS Office
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications

Must be mature, flexible, intellectually alert, able to command the respect and confidence of detainees/inmates as well as staff and possess a high tolerance to mental stress.
Supervisory Officers. The SSC positions will be established for projects where a SSM is not available to assist the cognizant officer with post managed projects. The SSC will assist the DoS officials, coordinate security and other requirements with the key project officials and provide reports back to Security Operations in Washington DC. Duties and Responsibilities:
The SSC will be required to maintain a detailed, daily log of numerous construction activities and render a written report to the Regional Security Officer and Washington DC Desk Officer for review.
Coordinate security and other requirements with the key project officials.
Provide reports back to Security Operations in Washington DC.
Personnel who are well versed in both CAG and CST discipline will be required to interact and efficiently communicate, both orally and in writing, with Embassy personnel.
Requirements
ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance required.
Active CST and/or CAG certification required.
3+ years of security and/or construction experience.
Site Security Coordinators must have at least 3 years of experience in the CSM Program.
Have and maintain a Top-Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance.

The SSC will be knowledgeable in both guard and construction surveillance functions, however, they need not be certified in both.

Qualifications
DA-04:

NIWC Security Specialist II
Security Specialist Job In Washington, DC
MAG currently has an opening for a Specialist, Security II to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic). This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the cybersecurity implementations and operations, advanced technology, and project management services mission. In this mission, we provide engineering and technical services with operational support located in Washington DC.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
Duties include, but not limited to:
+ Individual shall be capable of providing security risk management guidance pertaining to the protection of advanced technology, make access eligibility determinations in accordance with Navy SAP Nomination Process, and review documentation required for classified information systems in accordance with the current regulations.
+ Individual shall be capable of conducting site surveys and physical security accreditations, interpret current security policies, and implement organization security policies and procedures.
**Requirements**
**Minimum Requirements**
**(U) Experience:**
+ Seven (7) years with a bachelor's degree or nine (9) years with applicable training/certification of experience, to include: applicable security discipline principles, practices, and procedures.
+ Must demonstrate knowledge and experience working with security classification methods, concepts, eligibility for access to classified or sensitive information and the process for granting personnel security clearances/accesses, and knowledge of commonly applied security principles, concepts, and methodologies in carrying out information, personnel, and physical security programs related to the protection of SCI.
+ Specialist should have experience conducting inspections and investigations, collecting and analyzing information, etc., and possess skills in weighing the impact of variables such as critical personnel qualifications, variations in building construction characteristics, access and entry restrictions, equipment availability, and other issues that influence the course of actions taken in resolving security questions and issues.
**(U) Education:**
+ Education: Bachelor's degree or Graduate/completion of an approved Federal/State education applicable technical training course (e.g., DoD/Military Security Specialist Training)
**(U) Specific Requirements:**
+ Specific Experience: Information Assurance Technical (IAT) III and Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) certification. Five (5) + years of experience with A&A for OT or control systems. Experience may be achieved simultaneously
+ Decision making, communication, collaboration and writing skills
+ Proficient in MS Office and Outlook (Word, Email, Spreadsheets, Schedules, PowerPoint).
**(U) General Requirements:**
+ Must be a US citizen
+ Must possess an active Top Secret clearance level
