You'll also support K-1 data processing, assist with tax return preparation, and contribute to ad hoc tax projects. We're looking for a detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives both independently and in team settings. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities IRS Correspondence Review, research, and resolve IRS notices, primarily related to Forms 990-PF and 990-T, including extensions and payments. Reconcile refund checks, credit adjustments, and discrepancies. Coordinate processing of physical IRS mail and manage workflows via project management tools. Collaborate with internal teams (Tax, Finance, and Client Services) to resolve client tax issues. K-1 Processing Manage intake and review of K-1s for accuracy and completeness. Reconcile discrepancies between K-1s and internal records. Request and process additional documentation as needed for tax preparation. Tax Return Preparation (10%) Prepare basic private foundation tax returns and related schedules. Support other tax-related projects as assigned.
