Qualifications and Requirements:

Maintains knowledge of general economic and political trends of possible tax or other legislation that could affect the business climate
Assumes responsibility for the smooth flow of tax information to ensure accurate, complete, and timely preparation and delivery of all entity and individual tax returns
Performs technical tax reviews of certain tax returns, which are prepared by Third Party
Prepares other reports and works on projects as requested from time to time by Family, Company, or Third Parties

Description & Requirements As an intern at Forvis Mazars, you will gain valuable experience that may help you decide whether you want to start your career in audit or tax, or even whether public accounting is right for you. Participate in comprehensive training on the job.

Interact with client personnel regarding tax return information, deadlines, etc... and keep team informed on status.

Proactively participate in professional development opportunities such as continuing professional education (CPE)
Initiate and develop relationships with appropriate levels of the client's management team.
Give insight and thought leadership to corporate publications on tax matters.
