Your Impact
Visit key professional end users to demonstrate and educate on Canon imaging products
Provide support to imaging professionals and end users, which may include evaluation loans, troubleshooting, demonstrating equipment, and responding to questions regarding advanced product applications, workflow, and imaging techniques
Plan and conduct internal, dealer and client training seminars in collaboration with the sales teams to educate about the features, specifications and applications of Canon's imaging products
Collaborate with Canon's Marketing and Product Planning departments to provide support on product launches, marketing collateral, events, and other special projects
Assess technical support requirements for the industry and develop / schedule appropriate activities and programs

About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
Bachelor's degree in a relevant imaging, photojournalism, marketing, and/or business field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience as an imaging professional
Professional level knowledge regarding cameras, lenses, techniques, and applications to communicate with and support the professional end user
Experience in the technical aspects of on location photojournalism and/or photography including image editing, remote filing, and transmission
Experience working in a still and video hybrid newsgathering environment
Experience working at or with key imaging agencies and/or wire services is preferred
Ability to travel up to 50-70% nationwide, with some opportunities for international travel
This position requires driving; therefore a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are necessary. Additionally, because this position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job, must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies
Ability to lift over 50 lbs

About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to help drive our new platform, HashSphere, and help customers build valuable solutions on HashSphere as well as the Hedera Network. This role focuses on building and promoting blockchain applications and exploring how blockchain. You will play a key part in shaping the future of decentralized systems by driving solutions within the Hedera Network and the HashSphere platform while also leading efforts to leverage blockchain to improve AI workflows.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Hedera’s core teams, along with HashSphere’s product team, to ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle. You may find yourself doing all of the following:
Conducting discovery calls as a trusted technical expert on HashSphere and the Hedera Network to understand customer pain points and help promote HashSphere and/or Hedera to bring value and optimize workflows
Respond to RFPs with detailed documentation and technical feasibility aligned with customer requirements
Validate technical requirements, align on feasibility, and draft proposals for implementation
Create small demos and POCs to illustrate the feasibility of the workflows proposed
Create detailed flow diagrams and architecture diagrams to help customers understand proposed solutions
Train client developers and technical staff on Hedera's ideas and how to develop products against the Hedera and HashSphere suite of products
Detailed scoping, including time and effort estimates for project delivery
Going to events to speak and promote Hedera, HashSphere, and related technologies
Qualification Requirements:
Ideally, 3+ years of Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Consulting, or similar
Software development expertise and ability to code in one or more programming languages
Expertise in reading and understanding technical diagrams and workflows
Client-facing skills: Ability to lead meetings with customers to understand pain points and educate on Hashgraph solutions
Web3/DLT/Blockchain/Digital Asset Experience preferred / fintech or financial services experience considered as an alternative

Responsibilities
The Solutions Engineer will be engaged throughout the customer opportunity lifecycle, with a
primary focus on pre-sales activities where custom solutioning and deep technical validation are
crucial. Key responsibilities include:
● Pre-Sales Solutioning & Technical Enablement:
○ Acquire and maintain deep technical knowledge of Catalyst's architecture, features, and API services to serve as a subject matter expert.
○ Lead technical discovery sessions and requirements gathering workshops with prospective
customers to uncover and understand their challenges, technical environments, and
desired outcomes.
○ Design, develop, and present engaging custom demonstrations and Proofs-of-Concept
(POCs) that highlight the value and feasibility of Catalyst solutions customized to meet
specific customer needs.
○ Architect and document technical solutions, outlining data flows, integrations, and
customizations to provide technical validation and contribute to proposals and Statements
of Work (SOWs).
○ Articulate complex technical concepts and solution designs to both technical and business
stakeholders, using whiteboarding and visual communication to build confidence and
consensus.
● Post-Sales Implementation & Adoption Support:
○ Provide expert technical guidance and support to customers and internal delivery teams
during the initial implementation and onboarding phases of custom solutions.
○ Develop and deploy custom scripts, integrations, or reports as defined in the SOW to
ensure successful delivery of the agreed-upon solution.
○ Create technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to empower
customers and internal teams to operate and maintain the implemented solutions
effectively.
● Internal Collaboration & Improvement:
○ Collaborate closely with the Product and Engineering teams, channeling customer
feedback and insights to influence the product roadmap and drive continuous
improvement.
○ Partner with the Sales team to provide technical feasibility checks, solution design, and
strategic guidance throughout the sales cycle.
○ Develop reusable solution assets, code snippets, and best-practice guides to improve the
efficiency and effectiveness of the solutions engineering process.
Qualifications
● Applied Technical Expertise: Proven ability to design and implement custom analytical
solutions using APIs and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C++, Java, C#, Go, Rust,
etc.).
● Solution Architecture: Strong experience in solution design, including familiarity with cloud
platforms (GCP preferred), integration patterns (REST APIs, webhooks), and database concepts.
● Technical Consulting & Discovery: Skill in leading consultative discussions, uncovering complex
business problems, and translating them into technical requirements for custom solutions.
● Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Capability to clearly and compellingly
present technical solutions and product demonstrations to diverse audiences, establishing
