Manually loads finished product on pallet
Stacks skids or pallets in designated areas
Provides clean up, as necessary, including sweeping floors and removal of trash in proper containers or designated areas
Performs other related tasks to keep the work area safe, clean and organized
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED preferred.
Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs. without restriction
Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
Walking in the distribution center and around the area with great frequency; facilities are over a quarter mile in length
Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations

Use materials handling equipment to stock, retrieve, lift, carry, move, and position merchandise or materials stored on various levels throughout the warehouse/cross-dock

Perform safety checks on lifts, reporting any damage prior to start and end of shift

Divider: The primary responsibilities of this position are to setup the divider and monitor dough unit cut-weights for proper weight per variety (keeping them statistically in control to target and within set control limits), minimize product waste, and contain downtime. Ensure bread weight quality standards are maintained and label contents are aligned. This includes proper setup and adjustment of equipment of the divider, rounder, flour system as well as all conveyors and guides. Ability to determine needed adjustments to processing, to counter line downtime or plant temperatures effects set HACCP, CTS, GMP, and JSA standards related to this position. Sets up depanner, water-slitter, seeder and topping machine for various products changing templates/speeds. Requires some mechanical aptitude. Fills own ingredient bins for toppings. Bagger/Caser: Checks bread quality. Cases product into baskets/cases, keeping up with line speed. Sets up and operates the Bagger and associated conveyors and guides. Responsible for monitoring, recording and maintaining product quality standards; proper wrap, bag print quality, bag closure, and proper product coding. Monitors bags for proper type (inclusive of checking label revision on bags). Must understand procedural aspects of product coding and code board. Speed and manual dexterity required. Racking and unracking bread as needed. May be called upon to assist other Line 3 positions during operation and other duties as requested.
Slicer Feeder: Feeds bread into Slicers at an approximate rate of 55 loaves per minute. Continuously monitors the size, quality and weight of bread, reporting any variances to Supervision. Must start/stop Wrapper and Slicer according to line needs. Watches for and unjams bread on the Hartman slicer and Wrapper infeed. Checks for correct number of slices of bread.
Must follow Break/Lunch schedule and communicate any changes in break/lunch schedule with supervisor.
