The Position

Qualifications

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $33,280 and $85,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Provides assistance and advice on technology allowance purchases for attorneys.
Provides support, troubleshooting and repair for laptops and desktops.
Assists with remote site access.

Salary Information
CA Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 at the time of posting.

Job Description:
The Associate candidate will be a member of the Asset Management team based in the Los Angeles office and will support management of and will manage, loan assets originated from all Mesa West office locations. This person will be actively involved in all facets of asset management, including monitoring, reporting, restructuring, and modifying existing loans in the portfolio. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organized, and dynamic as the team interacts with all areas of the firm including Originations, Investor Relations, Accounting, and senior leadership. The candidate will also interface with the outsourced loan servicing team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Work within the Asset Management team that oversees a large institutional CRE loan portfolio.
* Support senior asset managers as well as directly manage a number of highly structured loans secured by commercial real estate located in various geographic locations.

* Become familiar with and ultimately implement loan structure as outlined in loan documents.

The Director, Business Development (BD) is responsible for collaborating with Partners and Firm leaders, including other senior members of the BD Department and the Chief Client Officer, to develop and implement strategic plans and growth objectives for selected practice groups, client/industry groups, and Partners in Southern California and the Bay Area. Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of our West Coast growth strategy to cultivate business with existing and new clients.

Serve as a trusted advisor to office leadership, helping shape local go-to-market approaches.
